Black Bolt and White Flare booster boxes
Zekrom ex heads Black Bolt; Reshiram ex heads White Flare. Together, the two sets feature all 156 Unova Pokémon, each with an AR or SAR illustration.
Box format | Contents |
Slim | 15 packs × 5 cards (4 non-holo + 1 holo per pack) |
Jumbo | 6 packs × 20 cards (13 non-holo + 7 holo per pack) |
The BWR cards give Zekrom ex and Reshiram ex almost entirely black and white designs. The illustration lineup also includes N’s Plan and Hilda, alongside Pokémon such as Serperior ex, Kyurem ex and Genesect ex.
Black & White Energy sets
Each Energy set contains three 5-card booster packs and one five-card Energy pack. The Energy pack has four Basic Energy cards of one type—three non-holo and one holo—plus one random Trainer holo.
The special illustrations include N’s Plan, with N standing before a lit Ferris wheel, and Hilda battling alongside Pignite, Unfezant and Zebstrika. These are different artworks from their versions in the booster sets. A special-illustration Cheren card is also included in the possible Trainer lineup.

Black Bolt and White Flare coin sets
Each coin set includes three 5-card packs from its named expansion, one random selected holo card and a coin featuring the same Pokémon.
Each expansion has 78 selected card numbers: six RR cards and 72 C/U/R cards. The C/U/R cards come in Poké Ball or Master Ball holo patterns. Each Pokémon’s coin has two regular finishes and a hidden gold finish.
Puzzle-magnet sets
The black version contains one 5-card Black Bolt pack and one random metal puzzle magnet. The white version contains one 5-card White Flare pack and one random magnet.
There are 78 magnet designs per version, covering all 156 Unova Pokémon across the pair. Zekrom and Reshiram are the respective hidden designs. The magnets have interlocking edges and can be arranged into a larger display.
Coin albums and display frame
The Zekrom and Reshiram coin albums each hold 30 coins and launch on November 6. A separate Black & White display frame has 156 slots, with a Pokémon silhouette in each slot. Its release date has yet to be announced.
